This summer, ProsPac was pleased to welcome Noah Akiona as an intern. For Noah, the experience represented both professional growth and a meaningful personal connection.
“I admired the projects ProsPac has developed and the role they play in shaping Honolulu’s skyline,” Noah shared. “What made the opportunity even more meaningful is that ProsPac is collaborating with Kamehameha Schools’ Commercial Real Estate Division. As a Kamehameha graduate and former intern with their real estate team, it felt like a continuation of my journey while learning from another highly respected firm in Hawai‘i’s development community.”
Over the course of the internship, Noah strengthened his financial modeling skills, applied them to real-world scenarios, and honed his ability to think creatively about challenges. He shares ProsPac’s lunch-and-learn sessions as a highlight, providing a chance to step back from daily tasks and connect with broader industry trends.
“They gave me a deeper understanding of the industry and helped me connect the work we were doing to the bigger picture,” he explained.
Looking ahead, Noah has begun his first year of an MBA in Artificial Intelligence Strategy, where he plans to combine his passion for real estate and investment with the evolving field of AI. He will also be competing in his final season of collegiate bowling.
Reflecting on his time with the team, Noah expressed his gratitude:
“I’m incredibly grateful to the ProsPac team for welcoming me so warmly and allowing me to learn alongside them this summer. The experience has deepened my passion for development, and I look forward to staying connected and following the exciting work that lies ahead for the firm.”
